HOW DO YOU CHOOSE?

It seems like every time you turn on the radio or television or even the internet someone wants to prove to you they are better than all the other car insurance companies out there. Can there really be one good one out of all the millions of car insurance companies? Ultimately there can, but it really comes down to which is the best company for you.

But how do you choose the out of all those car insurance companies? You don't. Sounds funny right? But what I mean is you ask an insurance agent to. While the internet does make many things convenient. (I am the first one to pay my bills at 2 am when the baby can't sleep.) It is not the place to choose an insurance company. There are too many car insurance companies to choose from.

It is best to find a local insurance agency that has been in business for 20 years or so. They know the neighborhood (most likely they even go to church with you), they know the business and they know all the car insurance companies that will insure in your area. Take a morning and make an appointment with your local agent or speak with him on the phone. Tell him your needs. He will likely ask you some more specific questions to determine the one insurance company, out of all the car insurance companies, to best fit your needs in the most financially responsible way.

Remember your local insurance agent is your neighbor; that changes things. He wants to treat you right, his reputation is at stake. My insurance agent came to the house to get my signature when he found out my baby was sick. That is the kind of service you can't get from on-line car insurance companies.
